NEW CONSIGNMENT POLICIES:
We've had to make a few minor changes to our policies regarding what we accept here at Roundabouts due to changing market conditions, technology advances, and pricing limitations. Additional items may be added to this list at any time. Please feel free to call or email us if you have a question regarding any item(s) you may be thinking of consigning with us.
We will no longer accept:
MEN'S DRESS PANTS (UNLESS BRAND NEW WITH TAGS)
PAPERBACK BOOKS (COOKBOOKS ARE OK)
HARDBACK BOOKS MUST BE COPYRIGHTED 2007 OR NEWER
(LARGE COFFEE TABLE SIZE BOOKS MAY BE ACCEPTED BASED ON SUBJECT MATTER AND CONDITION)

DVDs (we will accept DVD Boxed Sets) A boxed set is defined as: an entire set of boxes of season or seasons of a popular TV program, a collection of boxes of films by a well known director or starring a well known actor/actress, or a collection of boxes of films of a particular genre such as horror, sci-fi and westerns. Other criteria for box sets have included all boxes of films of a series such as the Star Wars series or the Lord of the Rings trilogy, and a selection of adaptions of a particular author such as Stephen King or Jane Austen. Some box sets contain different versions of one film's boxes, as in the case of Blade Runner, and Alien Quadrilogy.
There are two methods of consigning at Roundabouts.
1. "Traditional". You may bring up to 15 items to consign every Wednesday between 10am-6pm. NO appointment necessary! We will hand select the items we would like to display on our sales floor and return any "no thank-you's" to you.
2. "Drop and Run". You may bring up to 15 items to consign every Monday between 10am-2pm and every Friday between 2pm and 6pm. NO appointment necessary! Remember, when utilizing the drop and run option you are giving Roundabouts permission to donate ANY ITEM that we deem unacceptable for our sales floor.
Larger Drop and Run appointments are available for Saturdays. Appointments are released on the 25th of each month for the following month. If the 25th falls on a Sunday, appointments will be released on the 26th. Please speak with a sales associate if you'd like an appointment or would like more information on how these appointments work! Please remember that clothing MUST come in on hangers and pressed for drop and run appointments as well as our 15-item consignment days. NOTE!!! large quantity (household and clothing) drop and run appointments (Saturday appointments) book VERY quickly!
ALL APPOINTMENTS FOR MAY HAVE BEEN FILLED
We are currently accepting SUMMER clothing and accessories.
There is a limit of 2 wall hangings per consignor per week. This includes mirrors/art work/prints/etc. Also, we are tightening our criteria for these items. Our customers are looking for better quality prints and artwork. ALL wall hangings must be in LIKE NEW condition, have adequate, secure wiring or hooks to hold the weight. Also, subject matter for art/prints will be evaluated to determine whether it is something that sells well in Columbia. Nautical, Charleston, local scenes, and signed prints by local artists (Fouche, Griff, Harrison) all do very well.
NOTE! Also, Roundabouts accepts CASUAL mens clothing! No suits please! We're looking for like-new khaki's, denim, polo shirts and the like! Mens clothing ALSO must be clean, pressed, on hangers and reflect current styles.
REMEMBER, YOU MUST HAVE AT LEAST $10.00 ON YOUR ACCOUNT BEFORE WE CAN PAY YOU OUT. YOU MAY, HOWEVER, USE ANY MONEY OWED TO MAKE STORE PURCHASES!!
If you have a crib that may have been recalled due to CPSC regulations, you can donate it to a group that repurposes them. They are turned into various furniture accessory pieces and therefore will stay out of our landfills and will not put any child in jeopardy of injury or death. You can email Linda at:
